SHEARING, Beverley Broneldia (nee HERRINGTON)  - Her laugh, vivacity and sparkle will be missed but treasured.

Beverley Broneldia Shearing, age 78, passed away on November 25, 2017, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by her family.

Born on November 28, 1938, in Cornwall, Ontario, to Edward and Gladys (Smith) Herrington, Beverley and her parents moved to Toronto when she was a child.

Beverley married John (Jack) Wallace Shearing on February 23, 1956. They had two daughters Lisa-Gaye (Shearing) Mead and Lorraine (Shearing) Peters.

The couple lived in the Toronto area and moved to Tulsa in 1984.

Beverley was a homemaker, close to her parents and grandparents and devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren. A master storyteller, she regaled the family with entertaining stories from her extensive reading and about her life-always with an impeccable Canadian accent. Beverley loved to laugh and loved her husband dearly for his sense of humour.

Beverley and Jack celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary in 2017.

Beverley is survived by Jack, their daughters Lisa-Gaye (Michael) Mead of Joplin, Missouri, and Lorraine (Robert) Peters of Chicago, Illinois, and their grandchildren Spencer and Julianne Mead of Joplin, Missouri.

She was predeceased by her parents, her maternal grandparents Charles and Broneldia (Southworth) Smith and her paternal grandparents R. John and Mary (Sawyer) Herrington, all of Ontario. Services were held in Oklahoma on November 30th. Burial will be held at 11 a.m., December 9th, Highland Memory Gardens, Toronto.
