CANCILLA, Agostino - After a sudden and unexpected illness, Agostino Cancilla, devoted husband of 58 years to Letizia and beloved father of Patrizia, Alessandro, Susanna and Adriana (David), passed away on December 7, 2017 in his 82nd year.
Predeceased by his parents Salvatore and Antonina and brothers Vincenzo, Nicola, Ignazio, Antonio and Giuseppe, Agostino is survived by his sisters Francesca and Rosetta, along with relatives throughout Toronto and his home town of Termini Imerese, Italia.
A sweet and gentle soul, Agostino will be forever missed by his loving family. We love you, Dad. Rest in peace.
Visitation will be held at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E., on Tuesday, December 12 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, December 13 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Lawrence Martyr Church (Lawrence Ave., east of Birchmount).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
