de SOYSA, Mary Nalini   - 86, of Hamilton, Ontario, formerly Burlington, Brampton, Toronto, Ontario; Regina, Saskatchewan and Sri Lanka, died peacefully on December 9, 2017, at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton surrounded by her family.

Born April 16, 1931 in Matara, Sri Lanka, she predeceased by her parents, Walter David and Mary Lilian Gurasinghe of Sri Lanka and her late husband, Dr. Anura N. J. de Soysa of Toronto, Ontario; Regina, Saskatchewan and Sri Lanka.

She had a heart of gold and was willing to help people, even those she didn't know. Survivors include four sons and a daughter: Gihan, Ruvan (Sylveryn), Nishan, Miran (Marianne) and Rosemary (Erik Martin). Her grandchildren: Shane, Natasha, Nicole, Jordan, Sherry, Alec, Christina, Cameron, Mihiri, Charles and Trystan. Her great-grandson: Isaiah.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2017 at St. Marguerite d'Youville, 2490 Sandalwood Pkwy E., Brampton, ON. A Celebration of Life Reception to follow at Snelgrove Community Centre, 11692 Hurontario Street, Brampton from 12:30 – 3 p.m.
