Di POCE, Franco - 87, of Toronto, left us peacefully on Monday, December 11, 2017 due to complications resulting from cancer, by the side of his loving wife for 61 years, Flora.
Devoted and loving father of Sandro (Joyce), Dan (Sue), Christina (Laz) and proud "Nonno" of Alex, Tom, Raechel, Sara, Anna and Elizabeth.
Brother of Loreta, Vincenzo, Antonio, Mario, all deceased and survived by sister, Angela. Uncle to countless nieces and nephews and a helpful and kind friend to all who knew him.
Fondly remembered by Chase and Peppy. Many thanks to the wonderful and compassionate staff at the Humber River Regional Hospital for caring for Franco in his last days. Franco was one of many humble, honest, hard-working, moral people of a prior generation that is harder and harder to find these days.
He loved his garden, bowling, fishing and watching hockey (Go Leafs!) and soccer; but his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
We will miss him dearly but he will forever be a part of us.
