CARMICHAEL SMITH, Bette - In Toronto on December 13, 2017 after a long and full life.
Bette was predeceased by two loving husbands - Witold (Victor) Carmichael and Alfred Smith.
She is survived by her son Richard, daughter-in-law Marianne, daughter Heather and granddaughter Julia, her husband Jay and her adored 3 great-grandchildren Alex, Adam and Avery.
Bette was very proud to have been the first private law firm librarian in Toronto, with Osler, Hoskin and Harcourt and valued the success that immigration to Canada had brought to her and her family.
She will be sorely missed by us all.
Cremation and a private family remembrance will follow.
