DOYLE, Betty Margaret - Passed away peacefully at Harmony Hills, Sienna Living, Toronto, on Sunday afternoon, December 17, 2017, in her 91st year.
Beloved wife of TJ (Ted) Doyle.
Loving mother of Patricia Ann Doyle (Darrell Suderman), Terrence Michael Doyle and Kevin Joseph Doyle (d).
Beloved grandmother of Liam Anthony Doyle.
Betty was born and raised in Toronto and prior to being married had worked as executive secretary in Foundation Company where she met her husband.
Betty and TJ were married for 65 wonderful years. As well as deep ties within Toronto, Betty was very active in her community on many levels where she shared charity and family experiences. She thoroughly enjoyed world travel along with her passion for skiing and many years sailing the great lakes with her husband TJ.
As a senior member of the Queen City Yacht club for over 30 years, she took great pleasure in the friendships and festivities of sailing life. She was much loved and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her, family, good friends and neighbours alike.
The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home, 1403 Bayview Avenue,) from 5:00 till 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 21. A funeral service will be held in ANNUNCIATION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY CHURCH, 3 Combermere Drive, on Friday, December 22 at 10:00 a.m.
