WINFIELD, Robert William - (July 11, 1956 – December 15, 2017) of Oshawa.
It is with great sadness that the family of Rob Winfield share the news of his unexpected passing.
Husband, best friend and the love of Cindy’s life for 39 years.
He was a proud father to Stacey Lombardi (Nick), Lindsey Anger (Paul), Allison Foster (Brock) and Robert Winfield Jr.
He will be greatly missed by his five little “Meatballs”, Alexis, Riley, Cameron, Avery and Kade, and his four-legged friends Buddy and Scruffy. Son of the late William and Helen Winfield and dear brother to Leeanne Hadley (Ward).
Son-in-law of Lois and the late Guy Morey, brother-in-law to Debra Gallagher (Kelly), Elizabeth Ross (Malcolm), Guy Morey, and Brenda Hoekstra (Harold).
He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
There was nothing that Rob loved more than his family and playing with his grandkids.
After retiring from General Motors (32.6 years) he loved to travel and get on his motorcycle and just ride. Rob, you are dearly loved and will be forever in our hearts.
Visitation only will be held on Thursday, December 21st from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street W., Oshawa (905-721-1234).
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the SickKids Foundation or Grandview Children’s Centre would be appreciated.
