CLELAND, David - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of David on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the age of 85 with his family by his side.
Beloved husband of Helen.
Loving father of Scott, Todd and Reid and their wives Arlene, Margaret and Lisa.
Cherished grandfather of Justine, Kevin, Brent, Grant, Reed, Jeff and Holly.
David was born in Timmins, ON, in 1932 and graduated from McMaster University. Aside from his family, his passions were the family cottage and a long and rewarding career at Spar Aerospace.
The family would like to express its deep appreciation to the staff at The Village of Humber Heights for their care and compassion.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke, on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 6-9 p.m.
A celebration of David's life will be held at the Lambton Golf & Country Club, 100 Scarlett Road, Toronto, on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.
