Masters CynthiaMASTERS, Cynthia Leigh  - December 5th, 1969 – December 17th, 2017

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Leigh Masters, 48, on December 17th 2017 in Midland, Ontario after a courageous battle with cancer.

Loving daughter of Carol and Mike Strange, and beloved sister of John, sister-in-law Tammy, Meggan, brother-in-law Tony, and stepsister Sarah.

Adored Ciocia to Tyler, Ethan, and Rylan.

She will be missed by her cousins, whom were like siblings, Matt and his wife Louise, and Michelle and her partner Ryan, as well as Kelly, Kim, Darcy and her husband Jeff. Cherished granddaughter of Bud and Delora and beloved niece of Rod, Sandy and George, Russ and Chris, Randy and Chris, along with her other many aunts and uncles. Loved goddaughter of Joy and the late Douglas Currie.

Leigh will be greatly missed by her numerous cousins, extended family, her dear friends Liz and Paulette, as well as many friends and coworkers. Leigh is predeceased by her father, Mike Masters, and Nan Dru Astle, whom we know are watching over her and guiding her way.

We would like to thank all those that supported Leigh throughout her treatment including Dr. Helen Mackay (Sunnybrook), Dr. Lise Huynh (Sunnybrook), Lindsay and Lynn from Saint Elisabeth, the staff at the Odette Cancer Centre, RVH Hospital, as well as the paramedics and emergency staff at Georgian Bay General Hospital.

Visitation will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, on Friday December 22, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday December 23, 2017 at 12 noon.
