HAWORTH, Valentine (Val) - January 26, 1918 – December 18, 2017
Passed away peacefully at Mackenzie Health Long Term Care, Richmond Hill, at the age of 99.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Arnold and daughter Kyra.
She leaves her son Michael (Anne) and grandchildren Kyra, Ian and Gregory. Valentine was born in Estonia and immigrated to England just before the Second World War.
After the war, she and her husband Arnold made their way to Canada and settled first in Toronto and finally in Richmond Hill.
We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Mackenzie Health Long Term Care for all their kindness, support and care for Val over her many years with Pick's disease.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Streetl.
