MACCIOCCHI, Vincent - Passed peacefully at home on Monday, December 25, 2017 at the age of 88.
Loving husband of Eleanor (nee Macina) for almost 66 years. Honoured father of Paula Clements (Rob), Vincent Jr. (Eleanor), James (the late Paula) and John (Ayesha).
Cherished grandfather of Daniel (Jana), Mark (Gabrielle), Kristian, Justin, Marisa, Miguel, Ava, Mia, Johnny and Téa and great-grandfather of Olivia, Everleigh, Madison and Liam.
Vince had retired from a career with CN Railway (Toronto Terminal) and had participated on the Board of Directors in many organizations where he remained active, including the Franklin Fishing Club, Chief Judge with the Canadian Drum Corps Association, Treasurer at Sand Pebble Resort and President at Isle del Sol.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley - Gooderham Funeral Home, Barrie on Friday, December 29th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with a Funeral Mass to be held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 28 Amelia St., Barrie on Saturday, December 30th at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Gilda's Club of Simcoe Muskoka would be greatly appreciated by the family.
