MacGregor MargorieMacGREGOR, Marjorie Merritt  - Died peacefully at home on December 27th in her 90th year, after celebrating Christmas with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Francis, grandsons Michael and Peter Francis and great-granddaughter Alyssa Beecroft-Francis.

She was predeceased by her husband John and daughter Susan.

Marjorie graduated from Toronto General Hospital Nursing in 1950 and was married in 1952.

Throughout her life she was an active and valued member of the Central United Church, IODE and local bridge clubs. Marjorie's life was filled with stories from her travels around the world, genuinely interested in the peoples, cultures and foods she experienced along the way.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Smith LeRoy Funeral Home, Woodstock, on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 after 10 a.m., where the complete memorial service will be held in the chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place.

Interment will be at a later date in Owen Sound.

Contributions to the Woodstock Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
