CORBETT, Albert Nelson - It is with profound sadness that the family of Nelson (Ness, Nels) Corbett, age 91, announce his peaceful passing on December 26, 2017 in Scarborough.
Beloved and adoring husband to June, with a recently celebrated 70th wedding anniversary.
Nelson was the cherished father of Lynn (Don) Shank, Carny (Kathy) and Michael (Eileen).
Proud and loving grandfather to Carrie (Eric), Erin (Darrin), Amy, Matthew and Julianna and adored great-grandfather to Brianna, Evan, Aiden, Keaton and Sage.
Nelson proudly served as a soldier in WWII overseas in England and Europe, firefighter with Ottawa Fire Services (8 years) and police officer with Toronto Police Service (31 years).
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
Donations may be made to Centenary Hospital. Ness, Dad, Father, Grandpa, Poppa, will be sorely missed, but his spirit lives on in all of us. Till we meet again.
