FIRSTBROOK, Ronald Crawford - Ron passed away peacefully in his 90th year in Sunnybrook Palliative Care on Christmas morning after a long illness.
Father of Pam Kinzie (George) and John (Ann), "Umps" to Andrew and "Unc" to Carolyn Kinzie (Colin Mowatt) and Neil Kinzie (Etsuko) and their children and loving companion to Connie Elliott.
Ron's wide circle of friends were so important to him. He loved to socialize with the Gucci Society, the Doral Dunkers, the Burgess Bombers, the FOOF's and the Dunc's Supper Club.
In his spare time, Ron was President of Firstbrook, Cassie and Anderson Ltd. (now FCA Insurance Brokers), a company he expanded with business partner James Cassie and subsequently Donald Anderson.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and the Claremont Retirement Residence for their thoughtful and empathetic care.
A celebration of Ron's life will follow at a later date.
