KOUKOUVES, Ioannis (John) - It is with great sadness that we announce his passing after a brief illness on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the age of 77, with his family by his side.
John will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 52 years, Tina.
Beloved father of Debbie and Kosta (Kathy). Dear Papou of his two cherished grandsons Yianni and Peter.
John was born on September 17, 1940, in Anemodouri Arkadias, Greece. John was predeceased by his sister Hariklia, his father Konstantinos and his mother Demetra.
The family will receive friends at ST. GEORGE GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 115 Bond St. (Dundas St. and Church St.), Toronto, on Tuesday, January 2nd from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at the church on Wednesday, January 3rd at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, or to St. George's Greek Orthodox Church.
