CRAWFORD, Maurice Arthur, BASc, PEng - Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre on December 31, 2017 in his 97th year.
Beloved husband of Ann J. Crawford.
Dear father of Margaret (Michael) Millard, the late Anne Crawford (John Parnell), Catherine (Jerome) Dupuis and Andrew (Cindy) Crawford and by Ann's children Mary (Stan) Feenstra, David (Kathy) Salt and John (Lorene) Salt.
Dear grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of 5. Survived by his sister Lila Cuthbert.
Predeceased by his first wife in 1970, Dorothy J. (nee King) and his brothers Ivan and Norman.
Maurice received his early education in Wiarton, prior to his service in WWII. After graduation from the University of Toronto, he worked for a few years at Canadian Allis-Chalmers.
He spent the remainder of his working career at de Havilland Aircraft.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 5, 2017 at Thornhill United Church at 1 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. Private burial at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Thornhill United Church would be appreciated.
