BROUGHTON, Vera (nee Allewell) - With great sadness we announce the passing of our dear Vera on December 30, 2017 at the age of 94.
High school sweetheart and beloved wife for 66 years of the late Bruce, loving mother to Lynn (Joan), Faye (Terry) and Shelley (Dan).
Sister to Mildred and the late Frank.
Will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W., at 14th St., on January 4, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on January 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow.
Mom believed in helping others; donations to your local charity, in lieu of flowers, would be appreciated.
