DOHERTY, Gerdie (nee Murphy) Co. Cork - Peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a valiant fight with cancer, on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the age of 79.
Gerdie beloved wife of 60 years to Hughie.
Much loved Mom to Hugh (Sandy), Kevin (Vicky), Maureen (Aidan) and the late Danny.
Cherished Momma of Michael, Katie (Brad), Kevin, Siobhan and Liam. Treasured Great-Grandma to Emelia.
Gerdie leaves behind her brother Dick (Betty) and sister Margaret (late Jerry), Nora (late Stan) and brother-in-law Tom. Predeceased by Frances, Mike and Mary.
She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Visitation at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E., on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11 a.m. in Corpus Christi Catholic Church (Queen west of Woodbine).
