LANG, John Robert - After a brief illness John passed away at Michael Garron Hospital on December 27, 2017.
He is survived by his wife Diana, daughter Fiona and son-in-law Colin Smith.
John was a teacher and school librarian in Scarborough in the 1960s and 70s.
He left teaching to pursue his passion for ships by opening Canada's first cruise only travel agency, The Cruise People, Ltd.
Friends may call at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, Scarborough, on Friday, January 5th from 12 - 1 p.m. with a service to follow at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that donations be made to The Salvation Army, Michael Garron Hospital or the charity of your choice.
