PIGHIN, Gilda - Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, December 30, 2017, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 98.
Loving mother of Irene (late Paul) Duerden.
Cherished Nonna of Christine, Paola (Riccardo) and Paul (Diane).
Proud Bis-Nonna of Jessica (Marvin), Zac (Kayla), Josh (Brittany), Megan, Raya and Laxman and great-great-grandmother of Lylah and Quinn.
Predeceased by her siblings Bepi, Marianna and Rizzieri.
Gilda will be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Salva Gideon for her care and compassion over the years.
Resting at Newediuk Funeral Home, 2058 Kipling Avenue, on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 1 p.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
