McLEAN, Gordon Morgan  -  84, of Thornhill passed away peacefully on Monday, January 1, 2018 at the Mackenzie Health Hospital.

Gordon was predeceased by his wife Jennifer McLean (Farnham) and step-son Paul Meszaros and is survived by his son Brian (Trish) McLean, son Douglas (Denise) McLean, daughter Tracey (Darin) Thompson, daughter Wendy (Michel) Charlebois, step-son Karl (Tammy) Meszaros and sister Marilyn Simser, 3 nephews and 9 grandchildren.

Born in Toronto, Ontario to Eldon and Viola McLean, Gordon started his career at IBM before branching out on his own to pursue his entrepreneurial endeavors. Gordon was a passionate sports fan and never missed watching a Leafs or Blue Jays game. Over the past few years Gordon began to express himself in his artwork.

His artistic flair shone through in his sketches of his grandchildren and paintings of landscapes. Gordon recently moved to Glynnwood retirement home. He thoroughly enjoyed his time there and was an active member of art classes and volunteered his time recycling milk bags into mattresses for 3rd world countries.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Glynnwood for making Gordon's last few years so enjoyable for him.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 6th from 1 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 3 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street. Private family interment.
