TIDY, Kenneth Edgar  - January 25, 1928 – December 28, 2017

Ken passed away Thursday, December 28th at home after a short illness, with Joy, his loving wife of 63 years at his side.

Ken graduated from the University of Toronto School of Architecture in 1952.

He was a member of the Ontario Association of Architects and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.

He started his career at the architecture firm of Gibson & Pokorny and then moved to Bell Canada from where he retired. His happiest times were spent with family and friends at his beautiful cottage in Haliburton, which he designed and built. His family was everything to him, and he and Joy also enjoyed many trips to Europe and the Caribbean.

This Christmas he was surrounded by his loving family: Joy and son and daughter Michael and Andrea; Kelley (Michael's wife) and his grandchildren Connor and Laura.

There will be a private family burial with a celebration of life to be held later.

Ken's request was that we all do something to make the world a better place.
