BAIRD, Geraldine (nee McCARDEL)  - 1933 - 2017  Gerry was a longtime resident of King City and most recently resident in Aurora and then Newmarket.

Gerry left us on New Year's Eve, December 31st after a struggle with pneumonia.

She will be greatly missed by many.

Gerry had a big heart and a sensitive and caring soul and will be remembered for her hard work and contributions to the Yellow Brick House, York Region Police Association, King City Chamber of Commerce and her long-standing position as the Bank Manager at the King City CIBC.

Gerry quietly made contributions and enriched the lives of others. Gerry is survived and will be missed by her son Michael, her grandson Harley and her great-grandson Owen. She will also be missed by Owen's mother Emily, her niece Kim in Nova Scotia and many other dear friends.

She was predeceased by Norman, her husband of many years.

At her request there will be no service or visitation.

It is not what you gather but what you scatter that tells what kind of life you have lived.
