MARON, James (Jim) Edward - June 6, 1929 - December 30, 2017
He was much loved and will be dearly missed by Mary Nichol Maron, his wife of 58 years, and his children Catherine Maron and her daughter Julia St-Jean Maron; Jim and his wife Holly Anderson, and their daughters Samantha and Katie; Bill and his wife Nicole Josiak and their daughters Allie and Lauren; Jennifer Maron and her children Gareth Maron-Cole, Holden Maron-Cole and Alyssa Maron-Cole.
Jim's children and grandchildren were the joy of his life. J
im was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the only child of Kathleen Florkoski, 6 June 1929.
He moved to Toronto where he met and married Mary in 1959.
Jim was delighted to become a part of Mary's large family; his much-loved new mother-in-law Marge Nichol; Joan, (Mrs. Don Watson); Tom and his wife Connie; Bob Nichol; Margaret, Mrs. Barry Johnston; Jim Nichol; and Gail, Mrs. Gord O'Brien.
We want to thank Dr. Ophelia Yeboah and all of the wonderful staff at MacKenzie Health Centre in Richmond Hill; The Community Care Assessment organization (CCAC) and Closing The Gap physiotherapists and nurses who took such dedicated, loving care of Jim in 2017.
There will be a celebration of life held on January 28, 2018 from 1 to 4 p.m. at 7905 Bayview Ave., Thornhill, Ontario.
