PALERMO, Victor Louis - Passed away peacefully on January 4, 2018, surrounded by his loved ones, at the age of 76.
Victor was born on December 3, 1941, in Toronto, Ontario, to parents Anne and Louis Palermo.
Beloved husband and soulmate of Gail, cherished father of Lena, Elizabeth and Louisa, father-in-law of Steve and Rob and treasured "Mumeek" to Sawyer, Isabella, Hazel and Victor.
He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Michael and Frank, brother-in-law Glen and sisters-in-law Carmela, Marcia and Pat. Predeceased by his brother John. He will also be missed by his wonderful caregiver Rose.
A lawyer and successful businessman, Victor co-founded Carousel Holidays.
He was the ultimate sports fan, had a passion for travel and loved his winters in Florida. He will be remembered as a true gentleman and a gifted storyteller with a wonderful sense of humour.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Islington United Church (25 Burnhamthorpe Rd.), at 11 a.m.
