Johns MurrayJOHNS, Murray David  - October 3, 1954 - January 4, 2018

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our dear husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

Predeceased by his mother Gertrude June Johns (nee Douglas) and his father Roger Wellington Johns.

Survived by his loving and devoted wife Tammy Johns (nee Townson), daughter Katelyn Iveson (Tyler) and son Daniel.

Treasured brother to sister Heather (Edward) and brother Douglas (Yvonne). Cherished uncle to his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Murray's radio career spanned 30 years from sales to senior management for several of Canada's top broadcasters. He was known for his sense of humour, incredible ear for music, love of all things golf and his enduring encouragement and support of his kids in all aspects of their lives.

Thankfully we have a lifetime of "Murrayisms" to keep us laughing.

A memorial service will be held at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., at Burnhamthorpe, on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11 a.m.

Visitation beginning at 10 a.m. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Toronto or the Canadian Transplant Society would be appreciated.
