Webb FrederickWEBB, Frederick James  - June 30, 1934 – January 11, 2018

It is with great sadness we announce the Fred's passing on Thursday evening at Sunnybrook Hospital in his 83rd year.

Fred will be deeply missed by his family.

Husband to wife Marilyn for 58 years.

Father to Stephen and Joanne and "Papa Fred" to his grandchildren Emmett, Lily, Archer, Travis and Charlie. Father-in-law to Pix and Rick, brother-in-law to Carol and "Uncle Fred" to his many nieces and nephews.

Fred lived his entire life in Toronto, born in Parkdale, he and Marilyn lived in Leaside for 55 years.

Fondly known to family and friends as Freddy, he was a gentle, kind man who touched many in the Leaside community.

Freddy coached boys MTHL hockey with the Leaside Kings and at North Toronto, he coached Pitt's Midget Baseball at Talbot Park and umpired in the Toronto Men's League.

Freddy was also integral in the introduction of Girl's Softball in Leaside and a strong supporter of Leaside Girl's hockey in the early years. Freddy was actively involved In St. Augustine's Anglican Church for nearly 4 decades.

He will also be missed by the gang at Sandcastle Beach Club in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Right up until his final days Freddy enjoyed the simple pleasures in life; a fine single malt scotch and a Blue Jays game. He will be missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Fred's name to the Alzheimer Society, Moorelands Camp or St. Augustine's Church.

Visitation, Funeral Service and Reception will all be held at St. Augustine's Church at 1847 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, on Friday, January 19th 1:00 p.m. Visitation. 2:00 p.m. Funeral.
