LARKE, Marguerite - 1931 - 2018 With great sadness we announce the passing of Marguerite (Peggy) Irene Larke (nee Dale), at the age of 86, at Scarborough General Hospital on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.
Predeceased by her dear husband of 36 years Douglas Larke (1988).
Much loved mom to Stephen, John, David (Karen) and Cynthia Pellizzari (Leo).
Sorely missed by her sister Patricia Sadler (Gerry 2005) and predeceased by her brother Earle Dale (2005). Peggy is survived by her grandchildren Erin, Katie, Stephanie, Nathaniel, Mariah, Emma, Heather, Sarah, Claire, Christina and Grace, many nieces and nephews and five great-grandchildren. Peggy loved to read and garden.
She lived life to the fullest surrounded by family and many longtime friends.
She had a great sense of humour, was an optimist until the end and faced death with great courage.
Cremation has taken place. Pursuant to her wishes, there will be no public memorial service.
