MURPHY, Hannah  - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at St. Joseph's Hospital on Saturday, January 21, 2018 at the age of 85.

Hannah will be reunited with her parents Daniel and Margaret, brothers Jack, Paddy and Donie and sisters Mary Murphy and Bridget O'Connor.

Hannah will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her sister Kitty Freeley (Tom), brother Billy and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews and great-grandnephew.

Hannah was born in Owning, Piltown, Co. Kilkenny, Ireland on September 26, 1932.

She dedicated her professional life to her nursing career and following qualification as a registered nurse in the UK she worked for more than 40 years at St. Joseph's and Hillcrest Hospitals in Toronto. Hannah's caring nature, compassion and kindness extended to family, friends, neighbors and all who knew her.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., Toronto, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, 263 Roncesvalles Ave., Toronto, on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11 a.m.

Although she has left this life, Hannah's memory will last in our hearts forever.
