ARCHER, Donald Maurice - It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our father who died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, he was in his 90th year.
He will be lovingly missed by his lifelong partner and wife Doreen Archer (nee Davis) of 69 years.
Son of the late Georgina Mergel.
Loving father of David (Karen), Daniel (Izabell), Douglas (Jan) and Dian (Jay). Dear brother of the late Marie Stenabaugh (Bob).
He will also be missed by his brother Albert Mergel (Marylynn) and sister Sandra Walen (Doug). As per our father's wishes, cremation has taken place.
A celebration of his life will be held at his home on Lake Nipissing and announced at a later date.
Don enjoyed a 40 year career in the Lithographic trade. He started out as Press Helper and Feeder and gradually became the boss as the Pressman.
He was very appreciative of the many people he met over the years and maintained these many relationships after he retired in 1990.
