DOUGLAS, Barbara Marie (nee HIBBERD) - At the age of 82, Barb passed away unexpectedly at her home on January 31, 2018.
Beloved wife of the late John B. Douglas. Loving mother of David (Monique), Mary (Martin), Barbara (Tim), Peter (Lori) and Diane (Marie).
Cherished grandmother of Andrea (Peter), Michelle, Danielle, L.J., Emma, Laura (Michael), Anne Marie, Katherine, Michael, Christopher, Sarah, John and Charlie and great-granddaughters Sophia, Olivia and Anastasia.
Dear sister of Dave (Mary), William, Jean (George), Mary (Chuck) and Neil C.S.B. and sister-in-law of Margaret (Martin), Gerald (Joan) and the late Walter (Shirley), Paul (Helen), Alma (Ian) and Evelyn.
She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Barb was a dedicated Teacher in the Catholic school system and enjoyed her volunteer work. Barb's family will be eternally grateful to the caring team at The Village of Taunton Mills for their compassionate and loving care of our dear mother.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church on Saturday, February 3 2018 at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment.
