OUROUMIS, Ahilleas "Alex" - Passed away peacefully on June 11, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at Mount Sinai Hospital. Beloved husband of Dorothy, married for 55 years.
Loving father of Mary (John) and Mitsa (Fred).
Proud grandfather of Nicole and Lauren. Dear brother of Soula (George).
Predeceased by his siblings Pides and Marika.
Alex will be lovingly remembered by his extended family in Canada and abroad.
He enjoyed simple pleasures, always spending quality time at home and specifically with his granddaughters.
One of his favourite pastimes was to tend to his vegetable and flower garden.
A special thank you to the staff at Mount Sinai Hospital (10 South) and Community Care Access Centre caregivers for their care and support.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-9:00 p.m. and Friday, June 15, 2018 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the York Funeral Center, 160 Beecroft Road. Funeral service to be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel with a burial to follow.
