Died on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Sunnybrook Hospital.
Jack, beloved husband of Margaret Jane (nee Whatman) for 50 years, son of the late Percival Renaldo and Rose Lillian (Hills) Taylor, brother to Marguerite, Anne, Lynda, Patricia (Dino) and the late June, Violet, Robert and Craig. Much loved uncle to his 141 nieces, nephews, great and great–great-nieces and nephews.
Sadly missed by his special friends Diane and Murray Wood, Cora, Jen, Peggy, Susan and Gary, Todd and Linda, Tova and Florin and his many, many other friends.
Thank you to Dr. David Juurlink, of Sunnybrook Hospital and University of Toronto, without whom Jack would have remained in his bed for 8 weeks without seeing the light of day outside.
Visitation on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home - Scarborough Chapel, 2900 Kingston Road. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11:30 a.m., at the Church of St. Saviour, 43 Kimberley Avenue. There will be a short gathering at the church prior to the service. Interment to follow.
Flowers are welcome or donations to the Alzheimer Society, The Church of St. Saviour or a charity of your choice.
