MCLEAN, James Ferris - Peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family and close friends at his home on June 11, 2018 in his 93rd year.
Predeceased by his devoted wife May of 60 years.
Cherished father of Eleanor, Joy (James Sweeney) and John. Beloved grandfather to Sean Sweeney.
James was a dedicated 67-year member of St. George Lodge 367 in Toronto; Installed as Worshipful Master in 1979; Appointed Grand Steward in 2007. 38 years of service as a Machinist at Canada Wire and Cable. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, sense of humour, outstanding character and his love of music and Hollywood films.
He will be dearly missed as a father, a grandfather and as a friend.
A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Jerrett Funeral Home, Scarborough.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dying with Dignity Canada.
