Adams JohnADAMS, John Harold  - On Tuesday, July 17th, 2018, at the age of 96, was promoted to the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Predeceased by his wife Olive and his four siblings: Arnold, Gladys Hanna, David and Leone Mackay.

Father of Phillip Adams and Naomi Sullivan and grandfather of John St. Clair and Rosalyn Campbell.

Great-Grandfather of Jon St. Clair, Rowyn and Angus Campbell.

After coming to faith in Christ in 1936, he dedicated his life to serving the Lord in ministry through the Pape Avenue and Highfield Road gospel hall assemblies in Toronto.

He began the Gospel Call, a weekly radio program reaching many countries where he also visited and preached.

He was the founder of Salem Acres, a place for disadvantaged youth and then later DNS Relief Fellowship, a registered charity involved in easing the plight of the poor and homeless mainly in third world nations, while planting the Word of God in their hands and hearts.

For over a decade he was a faithful pastor at Bethany Lodge and Manor.

Visitation will be at the Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on Tuesday, July 24th from 6 to 9 p.m. with the funeral on Wednesday. July 25th at 11 a.m. followed by a reception and interment.
