HEMMINGS, William - With his family at his side William Hemmings passed away peacefully at the age of 95, on August 1, 2018.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Clara, his three children Cathy (Steve), Bruce (Rene-Ann), and Susan (Andy), along with his 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and brother Gordon.
He is pre-deceased by his parents William and Elizabeth Hemmings, his brother Stanley, and his granddaughter Lea.
He was a dedicated Toronto Police Services Officer and an honoured WW2 veteran.
Visitation will be held at Giffen-Mack funeral home, West Hill, ON, on Tuesday, August 7th, from 2:30 pm to 4:30pm and from 7pm tp 9pm. Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home, on Wednesday, at 12 noon.
At the request of the family and in celebration of William's life please wear bright colours that remind everyone of the joy that William had for life.
In Lieu of flowers, you may make a donation in memory of William to The Canadian Cancer Society or The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
