Ruby Patricia Turner

April 26, 1939 - March 7, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, Ruby Patricia Turner (née Patrickson), after a long illness.

She is survived by her seven children: Tony, Sharon, Trevor, Tana, Kathy, Stephanie, and Christopher. She was a cherished grandmother to 13 grandchildren: Gabrielle, Melissa, Allison, Ashley, Brooke, Cierra, Brandon, Britney, Maisha, Justin, Stephen, Ethan, and Emily, as well as six great-grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by her sisters Reita and Maureen and her brothers Clynton, Gerald, Lester, and Trevor, along with many nieces and nephews. Ruby is now reunited with her beloved parents, Evelyn and Orel, and her brothers Adrian (Alwyn), Curtis, and Patrick.

Patricia dedicated her life to nursing, caring for both her patients and her family. She always had advice or an herbal remedy for whatever ailed you. She loved cooking for her family, hosting holiday dinners, and especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love for gardening and watching birds and stray cats brought her great joy.

Visitation will take place at McEachnie Funeral Home in Ajax on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m.

A reception to celebrate Patricia’s life and share memories with family will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Party Room (Ground Floor) at 22 East Haven Drive, Scarborough.

Interment will take place on Patricia’s birthday, April 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens, 341 Taunton Road West.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SickKids Hospital in Patricia’s memory.
