Barbara Jean Veenstra

On Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the Wellington House Long-Term Care Facility in Prescott, Barbara Jean Veenstra entered into rest at the age of 83. Barb was the beloved wife of John Veenstra and a devoted mother to Linda Tolstoy (Igor), Ed Veenstra, Wendy Selleck (Sheldon), and Kevin Veenstra.

She was a cherished grandmother to Sara, Caitlin, Ashley, Lindsay, Andrew, Eric, Brandon, Kyle, Dominick, Kayley, and Braydon, and a loving great-grandmother to ten. Barb is also survived by her sister Brenda Raymond (Paul), her daughter-in-law Tina Veenstra, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Cindy Veenstra, son Wayne Veenstra, and sisters June and Sheila.

At Barb’s request, there will be no visitation or service. For those wishing to honor her memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
