BENEDETTO, Vincenzo - Peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday, October 8, 2018 in Markham, Ontario, at the age of 90 (born in Italy on September 20, 1928).
Beloved husband of the late Domenica.
Loving father of Domenic Benedetto, Rita and her husband Marco Cancelliere and Frank Benedetto and his wife Sandra.
Adored grandfather of Vince and his wife Antonella, Vanessa and her boyfriend Flavio, Samantha, Alessia, Anthony and his wife Mary-Jo, Jacqueline and her boyfriend Andrew, Gianpiero and his wife Cristina, Nicholas, Sabrina and Michael and great-grandfather of Gabriella and Ava.
Caring brother of Angelina (the late Liberato Innamorato), Maria (Mario Lapudula), Joseph Benedetto (Carmela), Victoria (Paul Boni), Salvatore Benedetto (Erika) and Annette (Frank Dodaro). Vincenzo will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Holly Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Rd. E., on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and from 5:00-8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place within the funeral home Chapel on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. The final rite of committal will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery (8361 Yonge St., Thornhill). Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
