May 30, 1953 - December 5, 2023
Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on December 5, 2023 at the age of 70 after a short battle with cancer.
Beloved wife of Richard Shaddock for 51 years.
Loved and loving mom of Jennifer Muir (Steve) and Victoria. Cherished Grammie of Ethan and Katie.
Loving sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt and great friend to many over the years.
Wendy courageously battled 5 different cancers in her lifetime. Wendy loved to travel and spend time with her family. Wendy will be fondly remembered by her family, friends, and extended family.
The family would like to thank the team at the Oshawa Cancer Care Centre and the nurses and staff on 4F Supportive Care for their care and compassion.
Visitation at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Sunday December 10th from 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Barnes Chapel Monday December11th at 12:00 Noon.
Wendy will be laid to rest at GROVESIDE CEMETERY, Brooklin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Lakeridge Health Foundation (Cancer Care) in Wendy’s memory.
