ALDERSON, Willen Wright 'Wink' - Passed away peacefully at Victoria Place on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the age of 88.
Sadly missed by his sons Mark (Darline) and Matt (Monica) and their mother Mary Goodhill. Proud 'Grampa' of Tamara (Nick Prattis), Bryce, Ben and Sarah.
Dear brother of Keith, Pat (Bob) and the late Jim and Ev.
Will be missed by his dear friend Isla Johnson and her daughter Patti Lennox.
An artist, an aviator, an explorer, an inventor, a sailor, a teacher - Willen lived a full and vibrant life.
Willen's family will receive relatives and friends from 6-9 p.m. on Sunday, September 3, 2017 and from 2-2:45 p.m. on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Henry Walser funeral home, Kitchener. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday at 3:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
