In Loving Memory The family of William Henry Arnim Dolly of Mississauga is saddened to announce that William "Bill" passed away peacefully, on March 3, 2024, at the age of 86.
Predeceased by his parents, William Henry Vernon Dolly and Leonora Francis Dolly; and sister, Avril; he is survived by his loving wife, Grace, of 56 years; his children, Wayne and Nadine; and siblings, Lystra, Winston, Frankie, Lynette, and Ann.
Bill, fondly known as Arnim by family, close friends, and liming partners was born on May 13, 1937, in Woodbrook, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, later migrating to Canada in 1960 to study Mathematics at the University of British Columbia, graduating in 1965.
Throughout his career, Arnim left an incredible mark on countless lives, as a teacher, role model, and avid volunteer.
A simple, practical man with a playful sense of humour, Arnim will be remembered for his love of family, community, cricket, football (soccer for North Americans) and enjoying a good Trini lime!
As we bid farewell to a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, let us remember Arnim not with sadness, but with gratitude for his immeasurable impact and the joy he brought into our lives.
In honour of his extraordinary life, a Celebration will be held at Trinity Anglican Church at 69 Queen St. S., Mississauga, ON, 905- 826-1901, on May 2, 2024, at 11 a.m., followed by a Reception.
In place of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel/York or Diabetes Canada.
