MATTHEWS, William (Bill) Albert - May 9, 1938 - June 17, 2022
Bill (aged 84) passed away peacefully, at the Houses of Providence in Toronto, on June 17, 2022, with his wife, Dolores by his side.
Loving and much loved husband of Dolores for almost 54 years.
Proud father to Brenda (husband Ed), Kevin and Pauline. Delighted grandfather of Kara and Emma (Vancouver Island).
Survived by his brother, Bob (wife Gwen, daughter Christine), Sudbury. Bill was an animal lover and caring dog companion to Laddie, Patches and Laudie.
The family extends grateful thanks to Dr. Robin Verduyn and all staff and caregivers at the Houses of Providence for the care and compassion shown to Bill during his stay there, particularly during his last few weeks and months.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Houses of Providence or an Alzheimer's related charity would be appreciated.
