GLOVER, Yvonne (Lowther) - Nee Page (AKA: Nanny, Nan, Mum, GG and Mumsy!) - Our beautiful and much loved mother, Yvonne Glover, passed away peacefully in her 90th year with her three daughters by her side.
Born in England January 17, 1928, predeceased by infant son Hugh, husbands Monty Lowther (Canadian Armed Forces) and William Glover (Canadian Armed Forces) and brothers Laurie and Ernie.
Survived by daughters Hazel Liley (Grande Prairie) and her husband Ted, Heather Henderson and her husband Paul (Belleville) and Honour McKenzie (Sarnia) and her husband Ross, as well as her sister June Stokes and her husband Peter (Australia).
Also survived by grandchildren Walter, Adamm, Sarah, George, Brett, Robyn and Duncan and 14 great grandchildren.
Yvonne’s sunny outlook on life and wicked sense of humour will be missed by her many friends in the Anchorage.
At Yvonne’s request there will be no funeral – her own words, “I’ll have none of that palaver!” A small reception to share memories of Yvonne will be held in the Anchorage Lounge, 2 South Front Street, Belleville on Saturday, September 9 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Cremation.
