SHEYAN, Ronnie (Ron) Allan Sheyan   -  A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, Sensei and friend, passed away peacefully at home on February 21, 2023, at the age of 74, surrounded by love.

Born on October 10, 1948, to Ross and Sybil Sheyan, Ron grew up in Oshawa with his brother Barry Sheyan (Karen) and his sister Sharon (deceased).

Ron was a devoted husband to his wife of 52 years, Beth Sheyan (McRae). Together they raised their three children, Laura (Felix), Johanna (Mike), and David (Jennifer), who brought him immense joy and pride.

Ron was also a cherished grandfather (Keepaw) to Eben, Kiefer, Lucy, and Iris, whom he loved to spend time with.

Ron will always be remembered for his unwavering love for his family and friends, his dedication to his Karate-ka students and friends and his sense of humour. His legacy lives on through the memories he created with his loved ones and the lives he touched through his passions and hobbies.

Services for Ron will be held at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby, Ontario. Visitation will be on Thursday March 16th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm and the funeral service will be held on Friday, March 17th, starting at 11am, with family and friends welcome to pay their respects. Following the service, a reception will be held to celebrate Ron's life and share memories.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lakeridge Health Foundation Cancer Campaign.
