PLAVETICH, Mary (nee Kozuh) - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mary Plavetich on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at the age of 90 years.
Predeceased by her husband Ivan, cherished mother of Višnja Novak and dear sister of Barbara Domitrovic.
She will be missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, the rest of her family and many friends in Canada, Croatia and Australia.
She has touched the lives of many and won’t be forgotten.
A special “Thank-you” to the cardiac unit at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital, as well as all of the wonderful staff at Hillsdale Estates for their outstanding care and service.
Visitation will be held at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King St E, Oshawa, on Monday, July 31, 2023 from 6-8pm. A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Aug 1, 2023, at 11am at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, with visitation 1 hour prior, starting at 10am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Whitby.
Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada can be made at the Funeral Home by cheque only.
