SMALES, David Smales - Passed away unexpectedly at Lakeridge Health Port Perry on Friday July 28th, 2023 at the age of 78 years.
Much loved husband of Frances (nee Moore).
Proud dad to Tori (Steve) Kay and Andrew Smales (Frances Kerfoot).
His adoring grandkids will forever miss him, Messy Grandpa to Billy & Vivian Kay and Bicky to Lily & Sebastian Smales.
Dear brother to Patricia (David) Evershed and Christina Blizzard. Brother in law to Dave Blizzard. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews.
David was predeceased by his parents Albert & Mabel Smales and his sister Barbara.
David & Frances were foster parents for years and opened their home to many children, he will be especially missed by Kayla, Tiffiny, Mark and Connie.
Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division Street North Bowmanville on Monday July 31st from 12 – 1 pm. Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 pm. Cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Diabetes Canada.
