Passed away peacefully, at the age of 91, on Friday September 22, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
Beloved father of Marion Gorny (Ed), Barbara-Ann McMurray (Dean), Diana Harper (Brian) and Deborah McKenzie.
Adored grandfather of Holly (Dago), Graeme (Amber), Dillon, Briana, Nicholas, Annalise, Nigel & Adam.
Great grandfather of Benjamin, Jacob, Braelyn, Addison, Israelle, Cianni & Epiphany.
Predeceased by Sheila & Dora.
Ben is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by many family and friends.
Ben served in the Canadian Armed Forces Infantry, was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #43 and the Moose Lodge.
Proud retiree of General Motors.
He enjoyed travelling, winters in Florida and camping with the family.
Visitation will be held at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Wednesday September 27th from 10am to 11am with a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11am.
Interment to follow at MOUNT LAWN CEMETERY, Whitby.
