Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday September 23, 2023 at Hillsdale Terraces.
Kateryna in her 100th year was predeceased by her beloved husband Iwan in 1994.
Loving mother of Walter (Ellen) and Roman (Stella).
Cherished baba of Darryl (Jill), Kristen (James), Brittany, Jennifer & Lindsay.
Great baba of Olivia, Markus, Alyssa, Madison & Hailey.
Predeceased by her siblings Paraskowia, Pashkowska, Michal, Dmytro, Mykola.
Lovingly remembered by Ela & Michal and Roman & Marika Tykajlo and many family and friends.
Kateryna was a proud member of St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Church.
A longtime contributing member of the kitchen ladies league who prepared food in the hall at LVIV tirelessly for many years.
She enjoyed cooking for her family and for others.
Kateryna was a very hard working, strong, thoughtful person who enjoyed helping others.
She also enjoyed working in the garden on the family farm.
Visitation will be held on Friday September 29th at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa from 5pm -8pm with Panachyda at 7pm. The funeral will take place at St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church on Saturday September 30th at 11am. Interment to follow at ST. Wolodymyr & St. Olha Cemetery, Courtice.
