POULSEN, Carlos Aage Poulsen  - 82, of Oshawa, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Monday October 2, 2023.

 

Carlos was born January 16, 1941 in Lima, Peru to Charles and Yolanda Poulsen (nee Ornano).

 

He attend the Escuela Peruana de Aviacion Civil from 1960 - 1962.

 

On August 18, 1963 he married Olga G. Polianich in Lima.

 

Carlos worked for over 30 years in the auto manufacturing industry. He also belonged to the Estrella De Italia Masons for over 60 years.

 

After retirement he spent many years travelling all over the world, enjoying life at the cottage and winters in Texas. He loved sports, especially soccer and movies in various languages (and often thought he could speak them).

 

Most of all, he loved and adored his entire family and was very proud of them all.

 

Carlos is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Olga, his three children Charles and his wife Gillian, Pollyanna and her husband Vincent and Roderick and his wife Adrianne, and seven grandchildren, Thomas and his fiancé Madison, Eric, Darius, Diana, Strahan, Ava and Lila along with his sister Mary Poulsen, brother-in-law Cesar Polianich and his wife Denise, his 2 sister-in-laws Jennifer and Rosario and his niece Karen and her husband Mario (and family) and his nephews Oswaldo and his wife Dasy and Alejandro.

 

He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be incredibly missed by everyone.

 

May he rest in eternal peace "de aqui a la eternidad".
